When scrolling through Drives & Devices\My Computer with the down or up arrow keys...

As the folder is being read the highlight on the folder is lost.  I have to re-click on the folder with the mouse to get the focus back so I can continue to use the down or up arrow keys to scroll through the folders.

This is not normal behavior as it does not work this way on any other file manager that I have ever seen.

If I understand you correctly, I am experiencing the same.

When I click on a folder in the tree, MC11 will jump to another folder while MC is still reading the folders.  It then opens the wrong folder (the one it jumped to).

It is not loosing the focus here. I have still v.10.0.149.

Maybe it has something to do with this tree related fix (if you have installed v.10.0.153):

I should of mentioned that I am using v11.
