MC cannot burn DVD's using Lacie DVD-RAM drive
« on: August 02, 2004, 11:18:35 am »

I'm not sure why this occurs, but it may be because windows seems to think the DVD-RAM drive is a CD drive (can be seen in windows explorer).

However, Roxio DVD creator DOES recognise the drive and burn DVD'd perfectly.

I would much rather rely on MC - is there anyway to get it to work with my drive?

I'm afraid the DVD-RAM format is the one DVD format that MC doesn't support.

Sorry!

John

Thanks for that. I was actually trying to burn a DVD-R, but it wasnt working. Unfortunately it seems the only way i can do so is to copy the files from MC to somewhere else then use Roxio or Nero to burn the DVD...
