Burn Volume Issues
« on: August 17, 2004, 02:29:36 pm »

I haven't used MC much for burning CD's. In fact I don't burn many CD's but when I have I've used Nero with few problems.

I burned a CD today on MC 10. The most obvious problem is the volume difference between the original track on the HD and the CD. The CD is much louder. Also the "peak analysis" is much higher on the CD than on the original track--all this despite the same settings on DSP.

I also find the MC 10 labeler much more difficult to use than Nero's.

My question is--is it worth screwing around with MC 10's burner to learn how to tweak it--or am I better off going back to Nero--or something else?

I love MC as a player/library but maybe it's not the omnibus deal we hope for. I'd appreciate some feedback.

What's the best application for burning CD's?
