We're still working on Media Center 11.  We appreciate your feedback on it, but MC11 may not work as expected and we can't yet fully support it.  When upgrading from MC 10, you will lose your view schemes.  Some plugins still do not work.

Recent Changes

11.0.83 (9/15/04)

1. Fixed: Theater View's "Always keep focus" option was not working in some cases.
2. Changed: Standard Shift+F10 is supported in tree and lists.
3. NEW: Media Center supports right button drag-n-drop. (gives a menu of choices on drop)
4. NEW: Media Center shows context-sensitive menu on drag-n-drop or paste when there are multiple possible actions.
5. NEW: MC now supports SVCD as well as VCD disks as long as they conform to the standard format. The user must have an Mpeg2 decoder installed (like for DVD).

1. Fixed: Shell extensions were not working properly.
2. Fixed: WMA lossless encoding would not work properly with WMP 10 installed.

I delete "RED" in the search box

I still have Red skelton shows and

the 35,000 shows do not show back up like it did in MC9 and MC10

The only way to get back the list of media files is to click on playing now or something else and then back on Media Library.

I played around with this a bit...

If I type Iron Ma , It lists all the songs that it is supposed to, when I clear the box, it lists all the library.

If I type Iron Maiden, It will list all the songs, when I clear the search box, it does not re list all the album, It looks like if you type in a album or band, it will react the same way as if you selected it in the pane...

I do not think that it should work this way.

1) Theater View - If I start playing something in a first zone and switch to another zone, the visualization window is still shown for the first zone and does not go away.  This is a problem because I have repositioned the visualization window and it obscures the buttons on the home page when I try to select something for the second zone.

2) I have a visualization that shows REMAINING_TIME and have the "gapless" playback mode.   The visualization switches to the next track before the first one is done and shows some weird text for the remaining time for the few seconds before the next track starts.  Sometimes it shows something like "-0:-16" and other times it "counts down" from 0:30 but never reaches 0 of course.

Right clicking ANYWHERE crashes my MC on my theater pc. Single files or multiples.

Using a library restored from a v10 backup.

I too get the right click crash, for pretty much everything.

I get the right click crash clicking with something selected. MC just "disappears".
