Please Help & Advise on Sub Folders not being seen
« on: October 29, 2004, 05:23:27 pm »

Using Media centre 9 happily on my laptop I can see all my songs that are in various folder
on my D drive by simply selecting the D drive in Media centre via my computer tree.

I have it installed on my pc and 2nd laptop and have the same media centre version, but
i cannot see subfolders in the route directory. i.e on my D drives both units will display nil files with media centre, however if i click on a subfolder within D drive, then it will only show those subfolder files.

So why is it that I can see all songs regardless of folder or no folder on my main laptop.
I have checked and rechecked all the settings and i canot see where i'm going wrong.

Please can someone advise.

Thanks

Towards the bottom of the My Computer file list there's a bar to toggle showing files in subfolders.

BTW, you may want to check out MC 10 or MC 11 Alpha sometime.

I have upgraded to  9.1.317

For anyone looking for this toggle its labelled as RECURSIVE.

And guess what..... its works !!!  now i can see all the sub folders in the root directory.
All those endless hours trying to fix it.

Thank you Matt,
