Hello,

Happy owner of the M-Audio Sonica USB->SPDIF sound device, I am trying to obtain 5.1 channels surround emulation from stereo sources using MC10.

I played around with MC DSP Studio's Output Format Channels and the JRSS 2.0 settings but failed to obtain any multi-channel output on my Sonica.

I then played around with Alex Vigovsky's Matrix-Mixer (http://matrix-mixer.sourceforge.net), a DirectShow filter that gives excellent (stereo to 5.1 conversion) results when testing with Microsoft DirectX SDK's GraphEdit application.

Now, is there any way to insert this DirectShow filter in MC10 ?

Thank you guys for any help !

Sorry to pop this up, but...

Is it possible ? If yes, just point me in the right direction ;)

Spent hours on Google... to no avail :(

DirectX Host here let's MC use DirectX DSPs:

However, I don't think MC will like ones that try to change the audio format.  This is something we could look at in the future, although there hasn't been a large demand for it.
