MC 11 Ripping, Tagging and Burning Problem
« on: November 15, 2004, 10:47:42 pm »

Hi
When I rip a CD to MC I get this message.
Tagging Error
"Media Center encountered errors while tagging and moving files. Check that the files exist and are not in use by other programs".
I do however manage to get the rip but with that message for every file.

Then when I attempt to burn this Rip

I get this message
"The following files could not be found and have been removed from the burn que".

It appears MC doesn't recognize these files due to a Tagging Error. I haven't changed anything about the tags location that I know of.

I am able to burn a CD from MP3's that are on my Hard Drive with no worries.

I was using MC 11 .0.98 ( the one with but have upgraded to 11.0.128 to see if that would fix my problem. It hasn't.

Your Assistance would be much appreciated.

Don't Worry
I fixed it by completely uninstalling/reinstalling MC  :)  :)
