Forcing playlist sort
« on: December 01, 2004, 08:23:52 pm »

Here's what I'd like to do but don't know if it's possible.
I'd like a smartlist that selects when genre=rock.
I'd like the sort to be=random.

No problem, I've got that part.

Now, what I'd like to be able to add to this, is inbetween those random songs, I want song ABC.MP3 to be played every 5 songs.

random1
random2
random3
random4
ABC.mp3
random5
random6
random7
random8
ABC.mp3
random9
random10
etc....

Is this doable in a smartlist?

Ok, i managed to find how to do it.

1) First, create a smartlist named "Random" or "Pooh", whichever you prefer, that filters only "rock", and has a "limit of 5 tracks".

2) Then, you create a playlist called "whateveryouwant".

3) You copy paste the 5 songs into "whateveryouwant", then you add your important song, then go back into "random" and copypaste again into "whateveryouwant",...

Hope it helps
