What is the object that is to the left of a song's name/title?  It is the only colored object and looks like a speaker.  Its  colors are yellow, purple, and green.  It seems to "control" MJ because only the song on its line will play.  I haven't found a way to move it.  What is it and how did it get there?   Is there a MJ manaual???
I am getting serious and MJ is ruining my days.

Thanks for your reply.  Iapologize that I am not fluent with the language of MJ, but please bear with me.  I am using MJ8.  The object/icon appears ONLY in the content section of the pane.  It is the FIRST thing in the row.  For some reason only the song in its row will play.  It seems that the player is "stuck" on this song.  The song appears in the player box and will not move regardless of what is high lighted/selected to play.  It seems to "control" what is played.  Again I apologize that I can't be more help.  Please get me out of this mess.

send all files to "playing now"
click on "playing now"
this should be the list of files that play.

if you are in "media Library" the items in that list may not play and only the the one high lighted, depending on how you have this set up in the MJ8 settings.

Will do as directed and thanks.  But....... can you tell me what is going on?  How should I set up the "MJ8 settings" to eliminate this problem????What did I do???  Again I apologize for not knowing how to better explain this situation.  Thanks

I have not used MJ8 for many years, since J river has made Media Center and there is many more options not just for images but for Music tag editing.

but there is a setting under options athat allow how double clicking and other options work to get files to playing now.

Media Center has more options for this and well worth the money.

Besides you get to use my free plug-ins.
