MC10 Smartlist question
« on: January 16, 2005, 03:44:03 pm »

How can I make a Smartlist that randomly selects from a playlist 15 minutes worth of tracks and the last song is always the same, specific track that I choose. I also need it to not choose a track if it has been played in the last 7 days, apart from the last track, which is always the same.

Thanks in anticipation.

Thanks Marko,

That's almost it and has set me on the right path.

What I need to do is calculate how long 'other' songs need to be to make up 15 minutes including the last track. I don't know if MC can do this and if it can I don't know how.

So, if the last track has a length of 3.5 minutes then the random tracks would total 11.5 minutes. If I chose a final track that was longer then the random tracks would reduce accordingly.
