Quote from the mjextman documentation

Quote
mjextman.exe /Import [filename] imports specified file into MJ library and launches Media Jukebox.

mjextman.exe /Connect m01p://[ip address or host name] establishes connection to a remote Media Server

mjextman.exe /SilentImport [filename] imports specified file into MJ library but does not launch Media Jukebox.

is it possible to not have to specify the filename?

I would like to be able to remotely tell media center to import all new files found in the directory that it used the last time.

Hi im new to the forum, but ive used MC for a long time and i love it!

Is there really not any way to update a medialibrary and import new files completely without userinput?

Tried the mjextman /MCC 23000,0,0 and it does open the importfeature but i still have to click "Start Search"

Im sure there MUST be, im just having trouble to find it   :)

KingSparta wrote a plug-in for that purpose. It's called "folder sleuth" and it's available at King's webiste:

http://www.spartasoft.com/

Haven't tried it so I cannot give you more info on it, but other plug-ins from King I've used work pretty well.

Hope it helps.

Thanks Deivit.

The plugin doesnt seem to work on networkdrives though.
I cannot save my settings either.

Mayby the developer knows what to do?

I use MC10 on an XPSP2 box

MC 11 added support for folders in command line imports.

Great news Matt!

You mean multiple folder import, right?

point to x:\music
and it imports all folders under that path.
