Has 'update library' been moved from the >file>library menu in MC11? (using 11.0.196)

Actually It's a pretty dumb idea.   ? I'm not quite sure why the two tasks have to be combined since there are many times you want to update your library with having to import files or folders. Especially since the import task has been screwy lately (especially with cue files). I think they are actually regressing with some of the basic tasks that MC11 is supposed to do. I love MC11 but it seems like they are becoming all style and no substance (lots of flashy tasks but basic ones have taken a back seat) It's a shame

I stumbled across the answer before getting back here, and I think you're both kinda right.  It's handy to have those funtions on the import dialogue, but it doesn't make much sense to have a menu under File called 'Library' and then not have the update functions on it.  Also, I usually want to use the update functions entirely seperately from importing...

Actually, given that I'm in the process of installing my old library on a new home network, the main reason that I just want to update the library and nothing else, is that while I'm messing around with file locations, I keep ending up with huge numbers of files not found that I want to get rid of.

That said, that's also the reason I use it under normal circumstances - for some reason that I can't think of now, I always seem to have those red-x files lurking around that I need to purge.   :P

However, whenever I'm doing an important backup, I want to do all those things that the import dialogue does, and the option of simple clicking on or off for which folders or drives are searched is great.   :)

My main point is that it seems inconsistent to have a 'Library' menu under 'File', and then not have a link to all those library-specific things.
