I've created a bunch of fields.  Now I need to delete and rename some of them.  What's the best way to do this.

For example a field called "Old Bios" I would like to change to "New Bios"

I've thought about creating a new field, then "moving" the information from Old Bios to New Bios but will that strip out the "Old Bios" tag and information out of the actual file?

What would be the Best way of accomplishing this?  I'm open for using a separate application to do a find/replace in the ID3 header.

You Can Not Rename

Create A New Field "New Bios"

Select All Files

Use The Copy Field Option To Copy Fomr "Old Bios" To "New Bios"

And if you use "Move" instead of "Copy" in "Move/Copy fields..." it will clear also the old physical file tags if tag writing is enabled for that field.

As usual, it is good to experiment with a few test files first. File Type Info in Action Window shows what physical tags your files have.
