J River with AAC
« on: March 19, 2005, 12:57:38 am »

Hi,

I am currently trialing J River MC as a possible replacement to Itunes for an integrated HTPC.

So far it works perfectly with Netremote and all music files except AAC (m4a). As a long time Itunes user I have ripped 75% of my CD collection to the AAC format.
J River MC will not play these files if I have set a mixed playlist of MP3 and AAC through Netremote. No probs if I choose individual AAC albums or songs.

Is there something I can do to fix this?

Can you play the mixed playlist in MC (without NetRemote)?  That should work.

yep it works if I create the playlist directly through MC. It is Netremote which is causing the problem.
