Theater mode:

Last level menu

Select single item

Play

Whole album plays, not single item.

Ya, Know

If you wanted to play entire album, you can do that on the level befor.

Griff, I've asked about this before and apparently this behaviour is by design. I find this very annoying myself also. You can fudge the behaviour you're wanting by choosing "Add" rather than "Play". You may need to start a new thread

In mc10 and 11, "add" adds single item to playing now, without clearing playing now.(MC11 item has to be highlighted)

In mc10 "play" will play single item selected and clears playing now.

In Mc11 "play" single item highlighted, all album items play and clears playing now.

Now if ya do a select on item, then hit enter again you are greated with another menu.

I dont know why these two menus on the last level,

cant be combined somehow.

I dont know maybe its me, but

If you can add, a highlighted item and only that item is added to playing now

Why cant you play a highlighted item and playing now is cleared and only that item is played, without having to go to another sub menu.

Just some thoughts

Thanks

It isn't a bad idea.

Play [the existing add]
Play Now [the existing play]

So Jim... any chance of this soon?

Thanks,
Ray.

No, because we're trying to close out 11.0.  Maybe later.

Maybe these options [Play (Selection), Add (Selection), Select All, Cancel (Selection)] shouldn't be appearing in the Playing Now view if they don't work or are not intended to be used there? Development on this area is probably still in progress.

That would be fine, although I think they would be useful there, if they worked as expected.  I'd just hoped that JimH or Matt would respond in some way, with some clarification...but alas...

Maybe its fixed, but there's no indication in this thread or change log (that I've seen) that it is.

I agree it would be nice to see these features but I don't think it'll happen for a little while (given the closing stages of MC11). I have the latest build and can confirm it still isn't fixed.

Trouty -

Take a look at the MC Developers' Zone.  All the Automation commands are documented there.  Be sure to check out the Windows Messages list, as many of the commands you can't do through the regular command line can be accomplished that way.
