recording and playlists
« on: October 13, 2002, 04:29:59 pm »

I have two questions.  First, how do you configure MJ8 to burn a playlist to a cd with the crossfade effects?

Second, I reorganized the files on my harddrive and because of this I lost most of the info on my playlists.  Isn't there a way to  refresh a playlist so that the song's location can be updated?

I was having trouble with burning a cd and came across this tidbit.  My issue is that I wasn't able to find this info through the help in MJ.  I STILL NEED HELP WITH THE PLAYLIST ISSUE, anyone?

Can I add crossfade/fadein/fadeout/dsp/eq to tracks when burning?
No, these sound enhancements are only available during playback. However, you can use the "DiskWriter" feature in Media Jukebox to create a set of temporary files with all these sound enhancements, then burn those files to disk. Look in the Media Jukebox help file for information on using this feature.
