sync ipod with remote library?
« on: May 25, 2005, 03:00:42 pm »

hi,

is it possible to have my ipod connected to/synced with my htpc, running mc11, but has no own music library - only connects to a mc11 media server?

i tried to, but mc11 came up with an error-msg -> something like "files not found". :-(

thx

You could set up the music directory as a local disk. We do it for some dos programs.

The dos command is:  net use [drive to show up as on your computer] [network address]. Fx net use f: \\Stationaer\C

This can be done with Windows too by right clicking on My Computer and select 'Connect network drive' or something similar.
