Library Server Error

I have jrmc set up to connect to a library server.  If I open up jrmc from a client, it downloads the library fine.  If I then close jrmc and open within a few minutes, I get an error to the tune of:

Failed: the handler is not in the right state.  Unable to connect.

Why does this happen?  Can I make it go away?
