I've tried uninstalling/rebooting/reinstalling with build 160 but still have the crashing issue. Gone back to build 159 which works fine.

Try doing Options/Handheld/Redetect Devices.

What version of MC are you using?  Please copy and paste your system info from MC Help.

Jim,

Don't understand what Tools/Options/Handheld/Redetect Devices has to do with MC crashing when a CD is inserted in either of my CDs drives for ripping.

I've gone back to build 159 which works absolutely fine for ripping.

Anyway here's the System Info:-

It's the area that has seen the most change lately, but I notice enough other CD related problems that I don't think that's it now.  I pulled the build this morning.

Jim,

I'll look forward to build 161 then!
