Song cutoff after transfer to ipod

Hi Matt,

It's zxsix from the Interact board.
I have a few mp3 files that I'm having trouble with.
They play fine in Media Center all the way to the end.
The song lenght displays the same in Media Center as it does on the ipod after I sync.
The problem is, that when playing on the ipod, the end of the song is cut off.
It doesn't end the same was as it does when played through MC.
I'm trying to figure out if it's an ipod bug, a bug in the way MC transfers it, or a poorly encoded mp3 file.
I've tested both at home and at work with the same results.
I've attached one of the files.  I was hoping you could check it and see if the file itself if flaky and maybe test it on your end by playing in MC, then sync to an ipod and play it there.
This particular song fades out at the end so it's real easy to tell because it never gets to that part on the ipod.

Thanks!

Hi,

I've only been able to duplicate this with the attached song.  But if I play the song end to end it plays fine.  If I fast forward the song the ipod seems to get confused.

When I play the song from ipod through MC the song plays fine.

It is only when I fast forward it on the ipod that I see the problem.

Looks like the ipod is having issues polaying that track but that it was transfered fine.

I'll have to re-rip those songs to figure out if it's the ipod decoder or the original encoding that messed up.
