Still losing cover art thumbnails after upgrading. Remove Cover Art followed by Quick Find restores the art.

We aren't seeing this.  Any other details would be very helpful.

Where are the thumbs missing from, how can you make them go missing, how can you get them back, how are your files / art stored, etc.

Thanks.

I had noticed as well, that when you have a details list in view, hovering over the tracks usually produces a tooltip which includes the coverart thumbnail.

However, in the last few builds, sometimes the cover art does not appear in the tooltip.

But, if you click on another track, and then back on the original track, the thumbnail magically appears in the tooltip.

Mysterious eh? I attributed this to showers of cosmic particles...

hmmm...that probably explains these small spots of colour which randomly appear in front of my eyes as well...

Is it possible you're moving files but not the art, so MC can't find the relative-path image anymore?

I'm wondering because the AW doesn't use thumbnails -- it actually loads the image.

Thanks.

Sorry, just chiming in with a config that is not broken.
I store all cover art as folder.jpg in the respective album directory.
I have images in all places I should have them.

Is everyone who has this problem storing in the files themselves or in a cover art directory?

Mine are all stored in the cover art folder AND in the file themselves.
I think the album art itself are somehow being removed or not saving propperly to the file.

I have fixed the files that had a problem and will take a look when a new build comes out.... Today?   8)

Another weird thing anout it, when using the Task - No Images smartlist, no tracks appeared.... Weird.

I had a problem with this sort of thing way back, maybe in 11 with images in files.
I removed them all in favor of folder.jpg and have never had a problem since.

Your mileage may vary...

It sounds like MC thinks there's an image, but then can't load it.  A missing art file or tag where we couldn't get the image out could explain it.

working fine here as far as I can tell.
Art stored in folder.jpg and not stored in the files.
