LAME v3.97b2 Custom Command Line Switch Problem
« on: February 16, 2006, 04:46:39 pm »

Howdy all. I'm trying to use the following custom command line switch with MC 11.1.122 and LAME v3.97b2:

-V 0 --vbr-new

When I try do a conversion within MC using these command line switches, nothing happens. These switches are supposed to offer 320 Kbs CBR quality with a VBR file. Has anyone had any luck using these with MC?

Please download the latest build.  Both the hangs on bad commands and commands with no encoder specified are fixed.

The bug should be fixed in 11.1.123.

You can as well use this default MC option: VBR Extreme, fast mode

It is exactly the same. (--preset fast extreme  =  -V 0 --vbr-new)

EDIT ... as Matt said.
