Tree view divider re-sizing. Why?
« on: March 06, 2006, 12:29:39 am »

Why do we have the ability to re-size the tree view divider when it simply moves back to the default smallish size whenever I change something in the tree?  Why not make it either closed, or open, or allow you to keep it whatever size you want permanently?

tools > options > tree & view > tree: untick 'autosize width', set it how you like it and it will stay there.

imvho, I think it should default to being unticked, or the option should be closer to the surface (same applies for 'display options')

having the tree bouncing in and out, as well as up and down when fighting with the action window, was just a tad too much for me to keep up with.

Auto-size is off by default.

Wow, I don't know why I would have explicitly selected that option, but don't I feel retarded for starting this thread when of course there is an option in MC. :P

Thanks marko

The auto expand tree view option only seems to work on the first time you add lots of file in the basic playing now action item.  If I add more, I have to refresh in order for to expand all the way to the top.

If I switch a view scheme and then minimize the audio tree node, the playing now item only re-maximizes after I open and close the node a second time.

If I start playing a song after starting up with the playing now item showing, it does nothing until I click on it and then it shows the playing now song.

Could there be some extra room by default?
