Can I ID Cut Off/Incomplete Tag Fields?
« on: March 11, 2006, 05:05:13 pm »

I don't think this is an MC problem but I'm hopeful MC can help.

I have a lot of song names album names that seem to be cut off don't know if this was when I originally ripped them, downloaded them, or converted, but somewhere long values seemed to be cut off.

Is there anyway that I can identify the mp3's that have these in MC?

I think I figured out the main culprit in that ID3 v1 tags can only hold so many characters in a field so I switched to ID3 v2 along time ago.

Any ideas how best to identify these cut off fields?

Do the files have both tags now? If not, just search for files that have only an ID3 tag.
