Frequently, I come across a 32-bit track that simply doesn't play. From the size of the file I assume there's something there. But when I open it with a sound file editor, it's flat-lined. Even stranger is that I don't hear others complaining about them. What's the story?

Maybe I'm just talking to myself, but surely I'm not the only who can't play MP3 files records with a 32 bit samplying rate. Can I?   If you have a solution, please share it. Or at least let me know I'm not the only one.

i have over 150,000 of 32Kbps mp3's and they play.

i do have a problem with some however and they sound choppy on MC and play fine on Media Player, Music Match, Real and others, they just don't play well In MC. i think all of them were mpeg 2.5 mp3's and am unsure what the difrence in a mpeg 2 and mpeg 2.5 is

I have reported this problem but no responce from J river.

So they must be aware of a problem with some mp3's, but are un-able or unwilling to addess the issue at this point.

I am at a loss as to why some of them do not play good, and also why the problem has not been addressed.

i just sent a file that does not play good in MC it is not 32kbps but it plays good in media player but sounds like shortwave radio in MC11

I have many more in other bit rates but it mostly seems like anything with a sample rate of 8000hz is messed up
