Explorer gets killed on import
« on: May 01, 2006, 08:01:45 pm »

When I right click on a folder and select Media Center -> Import, it kills Explorer, minimizes everything else - and never imports.

Something else is wrong with your setup.  Try uninstalling anything you can.  Virus checkers, etc.

I've had this problem a coupla time with recent builds.

I was advised hereabouts that it was to do with the new shell.dll file or somesuch, after a new install.

After a reboot, all is well...

I use this feature daily.
Same thing happened to me after upgrading from build 174 to 179.
A reboot took care of it.

I will try the reboot when I get home.....

I use this functionality almost daily with many builds - so this was something new for me.
