Sorry if this is answered somewhere, but I searched and couldn't find the answer.

I imported MP3s into MC and then proceeded to change the tags on a number of tracks.  The tags changed ok within MC, but not in the actual files themselves.  The result is that my HTPC, which uses other software to organize my music collection, does not show the updated tags when it imports the files.  The specific tags I changed were artist and genre.

I've played around with some settings, specifically "Update tags when file info changes" and I checked to make sure that "Store in file tags (when possible)" was checked, but to no avail.

If anybody can help, it would be greatly appreciated.
