Smartlist
« on: June 19, 2006, 06:47:50 pm »

I am compiling a list of interesting features and history/experience on these features. I was hoping someone could help me understand:

1) When was the first smartlist fature introduced (version, rough date)?
2) What was the initial feature set? How was it 'automated' or not?
3) Did people try to use it? like it?
4) How has the feature set changed/improved with time?
5) How do people like it now?
6) Any visions for this feature for the future perhaps?

Really appreciate your input/feedback.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Why?

I am writing a series of articles about how the interaction with media has evolved, and where it might be going.

The J River product was an early entrant into the marketplace. Also, I have not seen smartlists all that often, so I am intrigued by the feature.

MC11.1 has enhanced smartlists over media jukebox

I am not sure when smart lists came into Media Jukebox

Thanks : I knew that already. No guess at all on what version it was first introduced? Even better, I would love to look at some of the earlier documentation regardless. Any chance I can get some of the original user docs to look at?

Thanks much! (Trully appreciated :) )
