My Sansa e270 supports a microSD card.  If I were to get one, I an imagine terrible troubles at the moment.  I think it would be nice if a device could have multiple locations.  This would allow media center to get as many songs as it could on the device while combining the two areas, and then displaying the total space remaining as the two combined.  This would make extra storage cards automatic and effortless.  I use a smartlist to sync based on ratings and it would be very difficult to sync two cards easily without two complex playlists (one for each card) and I'm not even sure if it would work very well.
