Hi,

The first release I installed was 11.186. Minutes ago I updated to 11.189.
Whenever I watch the pictures of the library, the months sorting ain't working the way it should.
On top, there are those 3 columns with year, month, day.

Years line up perfectly...like 2000, 2001, 2002 and so on.
But months are screwed up completly. It shows: Oktober, July, December, June, May, March ...
Days are fine too. 1 to 31

How come? Why won't it show the months in chronological order as well? Is there a way to fix that?

Are you using an international (non english) version of Windows?

Well, I'm using version 11.189. Yes, language set to german.

I'm affraid this is by design. Currently, the sort engine only understands months in English.

Well, I added another column called date_2 with  your workaround posted in the link (FormatDate([Date Imported,0], MM)). It added another column, but the only thing it showed was "07" and nothing else.

Its not that the pictures are getting sorted wrong. If I hit eg. july, all pictures dated with xx.07.2006 are displayed properly. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the weird month order in the center column...
Also, the german translation is a bit behind    ...quite a few things are still in english.

Well, in my example it was the "Date Imported" what I was after. Probably in your case it's the [Date] field what you need. If you've just installed MC and imported all your pictures during the present month of July, that's why using my example all you get is "7" (July). Try changing the expression.

i use the english version, months are also messed up. also when using the calander preview as view scheme. with a previous version at least it was in alphabetic order.
