Locate (external)
« on: August 18, 2006, 05:33:38 am »

I right click on a bunch of wavs and try to update files with library info and it tells me it cant. Is this because they're wavs?

Also, When I click "Locate (external)" it windows throws up an error saying that the file hasn't been saved or the directory doesnt exist.

tracks derived from a single, large wav file + a cue file would exhibit that behaviour. is that what you've got?

No. I'm just cataloguing all of my sound fx and music. Most of them are wavs.

It's quite annoying actually, having the tag error box pop up whenever I apply a tag to it, and a little bit worrying that after all the time i spend tagging them, maybe the information could be lost, because obviously, it isnt being saved in the files.

Would .aiff files be able to save tag info? I have to be able to import them into Adobe premiere, so I am limited in what formats I can convert to.
