Never really bothered about covers before but with Coverflow view on iTunes I'd like it. Thing is, using j.River to retrieve cover art ('cause I never use iTunes Music Store - why buy crappy rips when you can do it yourself?) it ALWAYS crashes. Whenever I leave it for a while to do it's thing and switch back, it's always dead.

Any ideas what's going on? Thanks. I'm running the latest vesion of MC11.

if you could give a few details on the crash it would help them a bit
just 'crashing' is kind of vague

Not much I can tell you really. It just freezes on the cover art retrieval mini window, the window displays as (Not Responding) and that's it. I have to manually quit MC and that's it.

no, that's a much better description - can't say you'll get an answer but at least they have a starting point

Try working in small batches.

It currently runs in the main thread, so the program can look blocked while it's working.  Give it a bit.

Version 12 will perform this more seamlessly in the background.

I see. I've ran it again and am leaving it overnight. Been two hours or so and it's on the P's so hopefully it'll complete...?
