Hey there,

I am relatively inexperienced with audio software and am trying to determine whether MJ will allow me to "split" an MP3 into 2 smaller files.  I have a 110 min. file I want to burn . . .

Also, (similar question) will MJ allow me to insert "breaks" into mp3s?  I have a few (Global Underground) full album files that play as 1 song and I want to insert markers/breaks so the underlying file is composed of mulitple songs.

Well, the marker part might be a little tricky.  You can break the file into multiple tracks, but there's no way to make markers in a single track, so it'll act like multiple tracks. (if you're interested in lossless compression, you can do it with APE |PLS| APL files)
