Zoom: wow!

I'd love it if you could add an overlay when zooming video that said the percentage you were at...perhaps white and transparent.  That would be perfect!

Yes, the mouse-wheel zooming for DVD, video, image, and TV playback is wow.

Or did I miss the point.

Yes.  I'm asking for an onscreen percentage meter so you know how close or far away you are (25%) because it would help when you want to get back to 100%.  By the way, it should be relative to the screen size, not the video resolution.

Why? I think it makes more sense to compare with the native size of video. That would also be consistent with what we already have for image playback.

This is excellent and I hadn't realised it even existed!! Could we get the "+" and "-" keys to do the zooming too just like image playback please? Would be good for remote control purposes.

I agree that an on-screen percentage would be useful so you know how to get back to the original video size.

Thanks.

Video zoom out to as far as the native video size or the window size, whichever is smaller. If you play in a reasonably larege window (or full screen), you can zoom all the way out to get to native video size.

This is what I meant to say before.

Thanks.

I like the way that the video or image zooms into wherever you are pointing the cursor when you use the scroll wheel to zoom. That's very intuitive.

Yes I agree but for image playback, you can also use the + and - keys to do the same thing. I just think this should apply to all "zooming" across the board. I'm not suggesting these keys should replace the mouse wheel.
