OT: Calling Firefox users
« on: December 10, 2006, 12:39:58 pm »

I get a cookie error when I try to login on the forums when using firefox.

I added several sites (jriver.com, jrmediacenter.com, yabb.jriver.com) to the allow list but it keeps saying that an error has occurred. Anyone else having trouble? Any idea how I can fix this?

Thx!

No problem here.  FF 2 is all I use to access the forums.

You may want to try clearing your cache.  That may solve your issue.  This solved a problem I had with FF 2 & MC forums awhile back.

FF all the way for me.  Outside of the software purchase area, jriver doesn't enforce cookies.  I have FF set to disallow all cookies unless excepted and never gotten a blip.

FF 2.0 works for me and I have cookies enabled.  I did have to use IE to purchase MC12 but I have no problem accessing the forum or d/l new builds with FF.

Hm oke. I guess this may have been a bug I dunno. I erased passwords remembered and the cookies from jriver.com. Closed FF and logged in again. Now its working.  ?

I am pretty sure I was typing the password correctly, IE was accepting it but it looks like FF was using the stored password which was wrong, even though I typed it in again. I think it should store the new password ...

Whatever. Its working now ;)
