How do I add a new BASE view scheme?
« on: December 30, 2006, 10:50:48 pm »

Maybe I am missing something, but I can't figure out how to add a base view scheme.  Everything I have tried just adds the scheme as a sub-scheme of an existing one.  What is the process in 12.0.130 to add a new one as a 'top level' scheme?

When I do that, it adds it as a child view to the currently selected view.  How do I add a new top-level view?  The ones that I added with V11 are there, but I can't seem to add any new top level ones, only children.

Assuming 12 works the same as 11...

Select Playing Now. Then go to the menu and select Edit\Add View Scheme.

You are not alone, this drove me crazy until I burned it in my brain.

This is, by the way, a really important feature. I used it to create a root view scheme called "All" with a whole series of subviews that let me look at all media types. VERY useful when you have multiple media types (audio, docs, video, images) associated with an artist.
