Skips over silence in a track
« on: February 07, 2007, 09:33:03 am »

I ripped a track from Aero Smith [Walk this way] and encoded it as an MP3.  The track starts out with 4 drum stick clicks and then 8 measures of silence before the music starts.  When I play it back with MC12, 4 measures of the silence are missing.  When I open the file with the media editor, the 8 measures are there and can be played in the editor.  I have tried to save the file in different formats and still I get the same results.  I am thinking there is a bug in MC12 that ignores silence.

Any ideas?

Check:
Options > Playback > Do not play silence

Thanks Matt, that took care of it.  I can't see the note for the silence. or something like that.
