Cover Please help!!!!
« on: January 05, 2007, 01:29:43 am »

I have songs with no Image stored in it. So no Image appears in the tag and Image window.
(Text in Image Window "No image")
Then when I add one cover image with Itunes to this songs, the size of the file grows a little bit, so
a image is added to the file.
(Text in Image Window "various internal images")
I don't now if itunes store more then one image in the tag but in nearly every other Mediaplayer
the cover appears.
When i choose rightclick / Image / Play-Show (First file) the cover appears in the display window!
Is there no way that MC choose the first file as the standard Image or is there a other way to show the
Image.

The problem is that I share the music library with a itunes client because i want to use the store.
If I import a song in itunes which has now cover, itunes automatically look for it.
MC automatically import the new songs with the watched folder option.
I Use MediaCenter as my home Audioserver and IT as a managment tool for the library

The problem now is that the cover, added in itunes, does not appear in MC!
Is there now way for MC to read the image which is stored in the mp3 file?

From what I understand, iTunes save the images inside it's media library not in the mp3 tags so that's why MC can't see them. I had the same situation and to work around it, I use Tunesleeve which work side by side with iTunes and can rewrite the tags to make the covers appears not only in iTunes but also in other media players like MC.
It's a free program, just google it.
