No audio after iPod sync

No songs appear on iPod after sync. Clips, however, appear on MC's iPod pane when docked, and iPod capacity reflects the total data amount of transfer. Running MC 12.0.451 and iTunes 7.6.2.9. This strangeness just started a few days ago and prior sync's have been fine. I posted this situation on a related thread but no one got back to me. Please help, thanks.

I have seen these symptoms before. The problem was caused by me over-filling my iPod. The only way to get around it was to reset the iPod, loosing al the contents, then to reload it with less files. In y case it was caused by the coverart. i.e I have a 30Gb iPod, I copied on 29Gb of music thinking it would be fine, but the coverart took it over, and corrupted the file structure on the iPod.
