I have 2 CD's that I've tried adding to the library, both show as Audio CD's however there are no tracks to play or rip.
If I use Windows explorer I can see the tracks, WMP11 will play it also with no problem, including the DB lookup.

Using XP SP2 with MC12.189  and also another machine with 2003 server and MC12.189.
One has Plextor 708A and Plextor 760 and the other just a Plextor 760 drives

It is very strange the WMP is fine but nothing on MC12. 400 other CD's are just fine :-)
One of the CD's is Cecilia - Voice of the Feminine Spirit    (Don't ask, I just add them to the library!)

Any ideas where to look?

Not sure what the problem was, but after Ripping another 20+ CD's, I went back to 2 that would not be recognized. I tried turning off secure RIP and they where recognized. Now when I turn it back on it still works fine.

No idea what is going one. but it works now
