I've been playing around with media center 12 and like the ability to be able to play more than one audio stream at a time.

I've been trying to configure a setup but have so far failed to achieve what I would like... What I want to do is to be able use split view to view "Playing Now" for more than one zone... Ideally one panel with the audio library, and two more panels with the playing now information for each of the two zones I have.

Can anyone help me with this type of configuration if it's possible?

Media Center supports any number of zones, but the user interface will only show one zone at a time.

You can switch quickly using Ctrl+T.
