I upgraded to the new version and am monitoring with task manager so I can watch what's happening.  Every time I pick anything on the tree it takes between 30-60 seconds before anything on my computer is able to gain much control.  Commits seem real high.  I changed setting in control panel to optimize for performance which didn't help.  If I click on the grid for say track # I'd expect it to just note a mouse click, set focus and be ready to edit. But it hangs for 30 seconds or so as well.  Even if the grid is only showing 2 files and they are on the C: drive. Since I have a heavy tagging habit ;-) waiting that long before I can get on tothe next tag edit makes me smoke too many cigarettes ;-)
