Master Out vs Wave/MP3 In Control
« on: August 15, 2002, 04:06:37 pm »

Sometime in the past, I don't remember whether it was V7 or an early V8 beta, but MJs volume and mute controls would control the master mixer out or the wave/mp3 mixer input depending on whether playback was set to output to the sound device directly or through the wave mapper.  Today is seems to be locked to the master output regardless of the output mechanism even though the stream is directed through the wave/mp3 input.  The problem with this is changing MJs volume control now changes all sound including that of other devices.  If I want to change the volume of or mute only MJ, I have to open the mixer and adjust the wave/mp3 control.

Any chance of getting the old behaviour back, either in a V8 patch or in V9?
