Turn off the "Confirm File Move" prompt?
« on: August 13, 2002, 09:46:20 pm »

When editing files in Properties and then saving, is there a way to turn off the "Confirm File Move" prompt?  There is a checkbox that says "Don't ask me again (use the same answer)", but it only appears to work for the particular batch of files you are working on at the moment.

I liked it at first as I could be sure of what was going on, but now it is annoying since I have a lot of editing to do.

Is there a way to bypass this prompt?  If not, can it be put it in the next beta?

Thanks,

there are still other problems with the move option.

if you move and there is a file with the same name, and you select "No" do not move and overwrite. it will vanish from the list.

also i have noticed when you use move sometimes and i am not sure how this happens. (yes overwrite or no don't maybe) the file list that is displayed becomes corrupt. i am not sure if this is just visual or not, but if you then close MJ8 and re-open it the messed up list is ok.

I noticed this a month ago when i was having problems burning but thought it was because of a bad database. but since i have een moving files in the past few days i have noticed it.

yes i know it should go in the bug thread.
