Hi

I have this problem for some time now, and was ( optimistically ) hoping it would just kindly go away.
But it's still there.

When I choose Run auto-import Now from the Tools menu, I keep getting a summary that 125 files failed to import. Most of them are image files, but a few are audio.

Would you know of any reason why these files would not import into the library?
Thanks

Snapshots attached...

It seems that your snapshots are missing. It would help to see them if you can...

Yup, I can see them now...

I'm not sure why this happening... Maybe someone else would have an idea?

The only shot in the dark I can offer is the fact that all of the files that fail are on the G:\ drive under a backup folder. Is there some type of backup software that is running in the background that is locking those files? Are there other files in the backup folder that are importing succesfully?

Great, glad they show.

I can't think of any program that could be locking them specifically??
And almost the whole of G:\ Drive is included in MC Auto-import Library.
As you can see from the snapshot, about 30 000 files. It's just that 125 that won't import into the library. These 125 files are amongst (insub-folders) the other 30 000 files that are imported into the library.

Thanks, cosmic

I'm at a loss as to why that is happening.... Any thing special with the file prpperties compared to the ones that were imported?

Michel...you're a geniuse... you've actually solved it! 8)

By going to check out the properties, I've found out they all seem corrupted and need deleting.

Thanks so much for your input. Very much appreciated.

Happy to hear it cosmic. But it was just a shot in the dark. But I'm happy the problem is solved.
