Cross Fading Not (always) working Vista
« on: December 07, 2007, 11:13:59 am »

Is anyone with Vista using the Cross Fade feature between tracks.
Normally I use gapless but I've never got round to setting it on this machine,
and i'm noticing that it's not fading at all but instead just lumps of silence
between tracks, cutting of the end of tracks also.

[Edit]
This is intermittent I can't reproduce reliably, but I've noticed it several times
over the last week.

Same here.

I've had it all the time. It appeared on my old machine with XP, on my new one with Vista and on my Laptop with XP. I had it with MC10, MC11 and still with MC12. But I'm not able to reproduce this, too...

Make sure you have the option set to trim leading and trailing silence.

Otherwise, you're often just crossfading silence.

The only other thing that could cause a fade to not work would be a sample-rate change in the source files (i.e. from 44.1 to 48 KHz)
