Hi,

I am planning to buy a plasma in a very near future. It will be driven by HTPC with MC12 as the front-end for 90% of the time (Other 10% being BeyondTV). I am wondering how do I set-up MC12 theater-view to avoid any chance of burn-in for the new Plasma.

I am going to set-up Screen to go in low-power mode when no activity is happening for 1 minute. What I am concerned about is the burn-in for normal use. Specifically, I am interested in configuring DisplayView for listening music - what is the best way to configure it so that there is no static information on the Display View while still displaying cover-art, track name, artist name, album name, elapsed time, total time, track #, bitrate. I have created a visualization using Visualization studio in the past. For example, look at this post:

However, I find this solution not acceptable because of constant placings of all the text. It would be good if they would scroll from left to right. Or, maybe there is some another complete alternative (G-Force paid version?).

thanks,
Osho

Hi Osho,
I would not worry too much these days, have a read http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=998379 .  FYI - I've also set up a screen saver in Vista to my Photo directory and was also initially worried about the Viz in TheaterView having text in the same areas but I've noticed no residual image ever.
