How do I get my horizontal splitter bar back?
« on: May 11, 2008, 01:45:23 pm »

All of a sudden I have lost my horizontal splitter bar, with the result that I only see the Content Pane (list of tracks, etc.) but not the Display Pane (where one selects genres, artists, etc. to include in the Content Pane).  "Help" says that if the Content Pane is not displayed, you can get it back by double clcking on the horizontal splitter bar or dragging it.  However my problem is that it is the Display Pane, not the Content Pane, that is missing; and there is no horizontal splitter bar on my screen (at the bottom or anywhere else).  On the other hand, I can choose content in the colum on the  left -- but I would still like to know how to organize my screen the way that it was organized before -- i.e., with the Content Pane positioned below the Display Pane, separated by the horizontal splitter bar, and using the Display Pane to select genres, etc. to be shown in the Content Pane.  Thanks to anyone who can help with this simple issue.

This may be really obvious but it will only show the display pane if you're in the root view (i.e. click on Audio at the top, not one of the Artists or 'All', which otherwise appears the same).

Sorry if this doesn't help, you may want to post a picture to help show exactly what you mean.

Ben :)
