auto import skipping files previously deleted
« on: June 17, 2008, 02:16:08 pm »

i'm getting erratic behavior when i run auto-import. i removed all of my videos from my library and when i reimported them, some were imported and some were skipped because they had been previously removed from library (though actually all of them had been removed from the library)

is there a way that i can tell media center to import all the files, even if they have been previously deleted?

hmmm, nevermind. i found the option int he auto-import options. it still doesn't explain why some were imported and some were not though.

The maintaining features in Auto-Importer are supposed to remove the files from the "deleted files" database section if the files are removed from the disk. Did you, by any chance, change the file or folder names of the imported files outside MC?
