Help with Library Server
« on: September 15, 2008, 08:45:31 am »

I just setup a new home theater system at home and was able to connect its client to my my srevers music library via library server on a home wired network and it works all great.

I am now at work trying to connect to my home pc via library server over the internet and its not working, the home server is behind a router, not password enabled and on port 80.

For example: my home server ip is abc and my router's ip is xyz

1. How do i configure my router to port forward all traffic to my library server

2. and then at work do i connect to xyz:80 and is the :80 at the end of the ip needed?

Thanx
TC  :)
